Here’s the script for the “Meet Your Car Buyer Class Instructor” video above:
I’m seriously not one to toot my own horn. However, you’ll want to have confidence in your Car Buyer Class instructor if you’re going to take this information to heart. It’s important for you to know that I didn’t just research the car business, I lived it for years, excelled in sales, and worked in sales management.
I started my retail automotive career in 2013 just outside of Dallas, (my other-than-retail automotive career actually started more than 20 years ago when I was a service department shuttle driver) working in the Internet Sales department at a Dealership for a major domestic manufacturer. By my 3rd month in the business, I moved to the general sales floor because my name was climbing up the leaderboard competing with heavy hitters with north of 20 years in the industry.
By Month 5 in the business, I was already recognized by the manufacturer as a Master Certified Salesperson. As soon as Month 14 in this industry, my employer sponsored my education at one of the leading Automotive Finance schools in the country just outside of Houston, which was unheard of due to my tenure.
The most junior other salesperson there had been on the lot for over four years. Most of the other students had been “paying their dues” for 20 years before getting their shot.
More due to my curiosity than anything else, I ended up moving to several different dealerships with similar results to learn how they worked. By the time I walked away from the business, I was Sales Manager at one of the largest major import dealerships in the country where I was responsible for the development and production of an entire sales team.
There’s more to tell, but to make a long story short, I was just good at selling cars and learned as much as possible as quickly as possible. Now I’m not an actor or a professional speaker, so my grammar may not always be perfect, but I am a professional salesman.
Car Buyer Class is the culmination of my years of knowledge and hands-on experience. If you’re committed to learning and becoming prepared for anything the next time you buy a car, then I’m going to teach you what I learned on that journey.
